At Ferunas, we believe that we cannot share the feelings of connecting you to your innate powers as women if the jewelry that we craft is made of materials that are sourced from suffering and exploitation.

Therefore, with every piece we craft, we strive for ethical sourcing and green production.

ETHICAL AND SUSTAINABLE ORIGINS FOR EMPATHIC EVOLUTION
    
 ECO-FRIENDLY RECYCLED METALS
We use only recycled precious metals (EcoSilver and Fairtrade-certified or recycled gold) that have been sourced from established suppliers with full transparency on their supply chain.
And precious metals recovered from vintage, dead stock or scrap metals.

 

LAB-CREATED GEMSTONES & ETHICALLY SOURCED GEMSTONES
None of the current collections have gemstones, but for the future projects, we consider only:
Lab-created gemstones. These gemstones are identical to those mined underground, but they have a lighter carbon footprint (the labs use a fraction of the resources used in mining, with much less pollutants left behind). They cost less, too.
Ethically sourced gemstones. These gemstones have been tracked and ideally certified. The conditions under the gemstones were cut are of high importance too.
Recycled or reclaimed gemstones from dead stock or vintage pieces.

 

FERUNAS SUSTAINABLE JEWELRY
In our studio we do Recycle Everything!
From metal scrap, paper scrap, packaging to shipping materials, as well as use proper chemical disposal procedures when needed & if a green alternative is not available yet.                                 
Have a wastewater recycling system designed to catch gemstones & precious metal particles that are lost down sinks by dumped ultrasonic solutions, or from washing hands.
Use healthy polishing solutions i.e. ammoniac-free emulsion for polishing.
Have in place a fume and particle extractors & a hydrogen concentrator for the torch system.

The many hours of manual work, unconditional love and devotion for each jewelry are reflected in the power of these collections.
Age-old and new goldsmithing techniques are used in handcrafting of Ferunas sustainable jewelry collections.
 
LIMITED COLLECTIONS DESIGNED & HANDCRAFTED IN STOCKHOLM
For a meaningful experience, our pieces also come wrapped in recycled packaging.
